Below are all current funding announcements. Click on the title to view detail.

Homeland Security: NIMS/ICS 2008
Communities and agencies interested in holding NIMS and ICS training courses can now apply for available 2008 homeland security funding. Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2010 or until all funds are committed.

Homeland Security: UASI CBRNE, NIMS and NFR (2009)
Funds are available for MIlwaukee UASI area agencies for equipment to strengthen CBRNE detection, response and decontamination capabilities and implementation of NIMS and the National Response Framework. Eligible agencies must apply before June 30.

WIJIS: Justice Gateway Local Implementations
Funds are available for Wisconsin law enforcment agencies to participate in the WIJIS Justice Gateway. Apply on or before March 31, 2010.

VAWA STOP: Specialized Enforcement (2010)
Funds are available for law enforcement agencies to develop specialized skills/tactics regarding crimes of violence against women, provide assistance to victims of these crimes and develop protocols for consistent response. Apply by March 10, 2010.

STOP VAWA: Specialized Prosecution Non-competitive (2010)
Funds are available to develop or expand specialized prosecution units or other specialized resources to prosecute/adjudicate domestic abuse, sexual assault and/or stalking cases. Eligible agencies must apply through Egrants on or before March 3, 2010.

STOP VAWA: Victim Services Non-Competitive (2010)
Funding is available to expand or enhance a wide-range of services to adult and teenage female victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Eligible agencies should apply on or before March 3, 2010.

Homeland Security: EOC Construction - Village of Poynette
Funds are available for the Village of Poynette to construct an Emergency Operations Center as part of a larger Village-funded Fire/EMS construction project. An application must be receieved through Egrants on or before February 25, 2010.

Homeland Security: Intelligence and Information Sharing (2009)
Funds are available to support the operations of Wisconsin’s two fusion centers: Southeastern Wisconsin Terrorism Alert Center (STAC) and the Wisconsin Statewide Information Center (WSIC). Eligible agencies must apply on or before February 25, 2010.

Homeland Security: Citizen Preparedness Coordination (2008)
Funds are available for Wisconsin Emergency Management to promote citizen preparedness and plan/ coordinate National Preparedness Month activities. WEM must apply through Egrants on or before February 25, 2010.

Homeland Security: UASI (Racine County) CBRNE Equipment
Funds are available for Racine County to purchase Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosives (CBRNE) detection, response and decontamination capabilities.

Criminal Justice: JAG Youth Projects (2009)
Funds are available for the continued development of court-appointed special advocate programs and a successful juvenile crime prevention program in Racine. Eligible applicants must apply on or before February 11, 2010.

Criminal Justice: NIJ Postconviction DNA Testing Assistance
Funds are available to the WI Department of Justice and the University of Wisconsin Law School as part of a new Postconviction DNA Testing Assistance program funded by the National Institute of Justice. Apply on or before February 10, 2010.

Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Programs - 2009
Funds are available for Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) programs through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the Milwaukee County House of Corrections. These agencies must apply through Egrants on or before February 9, 2010.
